LEARN THE ART OF STAINED GLASS!
Introductory Stained Glass ($90.00 class fee) [Dates available in Franklin and Spring Hill] NEW DATES ADDED FOR FRANKLIN! Sept. 14 - Oct. 19; 9:00am-11:30am Move beyond just admiring stained glass and learn to make your own in this 6 week course. Students will learn the basics of copper foil stained glass construction by scoring and breaking glass into pattern shapes, applying copper foil, soldering and framing to make a beautiful piece of art. Students will choose from a variety of patterns during the first night of class (click here for sample patterns). All supplies, except project glass, will be provided. Instruction will be given the first night of class on how much and where to purchase glass.
Stained Glass - One Day Workshop for Beginners ($50.00 class fee) [Dates available in Franklin and Spring Hill]
In this condensed version of Introductory Stained Glass, students will choose one of four pattern "kits" for an 8" x 8" project which will include all supplies (including glass). Students will learn the basics of copper foil stained glass construction by scoring and breaking glass into pattern shapes, applying copper foil, soldering and framing to make a beautiful piece of art. Stained Glass Vacation! ($90.00 class fee) [Dates available in Franklin]
Spend your vacation this year learning a fun and exciting craft! Students will learn the basics of copper foiled stained glass construction by scoring and breaking glass into pattern shapes, applying copper foil, soldering and framing to make a beautiful piece of art. All supplies, except project glass, will be provided. This class will require some pre-planning, patterns must be chosen and glass purchased prior to the start of class. Open Glass Studio ($15.00 class fee per night) [Dates available in Franklin and Spring Hill]
In Open Glass Studio, participants will provide their own pattern or use patterns available from the instructor to work independently on their own projects. Participants will need to provide their own glass. Use of tools, equipment, copper foil, solder, chemicals and instructor assistance are included in the class fee. Participants are required to have prior stained glass experience in order to attend Open Glass Studio. Space is limited, call ahead to reserve your space.
